Abstract

|
Two patients with IgA nephropathy are presented. They were 17 year old male and 15 year old girl. They presented with episodes of gross hematuria and chronic microscopic hematuria. Blood´ pressure and other physical findings were not remarkable. Glomerular filtration rates were within normal limits. Renal biopsies in each case revieled minimal thickening of mesangium on light microscopy. Immunofluoroscent studies showed strong positive staining with IgA in the area of mesangium and moderately
